Enterprise Server for Stored Procedures (ESSP) is a scaled-back version of Enterprise Server consisting of the Micro Focus run-time only components required to execute PL/I DB2 stored procedures. ESSP streamlines stored procedure execution by providing exactly what you need to get the job done without having to implement the full Enterprise Server product. ESSP maximizes performance as well because it runs remotely on the same machine that hosts your database.
